Welcome to the new school year!
We are back to work here in the Student Services Office and looking forward to welcoming students back to school next Wednesday, August 27th. A quick reminder that we do have school on Friday, August 29th despite Labor Day weekend. In addition to the 5th and 6th grade drop in open houses that are scheduled, we are providing an informal orientation for our new 7th and 8th graders on Tuesday, August 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Some of our GUESS members and other Falmouth students will be helping to give tours and answer questions.
Mrs. Dawn Girsh is the new school counselor for 5th and 6th graders this year and Pat Wright will continue with her 7th and 8th graders, since we currently “loop” with our students. Together with Jean Barbour, school nurse, and Julie Mercer, our secretary, we make up the Student Services Office. Please stop by to say hello sometime when you are in the building; our office is located down the hall past the library, in the middle of the 6th grade wing. We look forward to working with you to ensure school success for all our students.
