F.M.S. Student Services

By now most of you are aware that Lois Murphy passed away on Wednesday, May 7th. Her death leaves a huge void here in the Student Services Office and within the entire Falmouth community. Our crisis team pulled together to service students and staff mourning her loss, and we were fortunate to have other counselors and staff from the elementary and high school step in to help us. We will continue to offer support, as well as honor her contributions to our school, through the remainder of the year.
For those who have particular concerns about students in 5th or 8th grade, Mrs. Dawn Girsch has been hired as a long term guidance substitute. Dawn brings past experiences in guidance, and a gentle positive presence to our office. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Dawn, Pat, or Julie Mercer in the guidance office.
